Job details:
- Develop and maintain features for our mobile application in React Native
- Integrate RESTful APIs and manage asynchronous data flows and local state effectively
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code; participate in code reviews to receive and act on feedback
- Investigate and fix bugs, performance issues, and UI inconsistencies across Android, iOS, and web applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design and product to translate requirements into working features
- Propose and deliver quality solutions, not just implementations
- Actively learn and adopt emerging practices in mobile development
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in React Native development
- Working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript fundamentals
- Strong understanding of React concepts including components, hooks, state, props, and lifecycle methods
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, async/await, and JSON data handling
- Comfortable with Git-based workflows, branching, pull requests, and code review
- Familiarity with state management approaches such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API Basic familiarity with npm/yarn, Babel, and mobile dev environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical challenges
Additional Information
- Proficiency with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, or Detox
- Experience with Next.js or React.js is a strong plus
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and articulate technical concepts.
