Role Description
This is a remote Software Development Engineer (SDE) Internship position in the Ads Engineering division. As an SDE Intern, you will work on developing, testing, and optimizing backend systems to support advanced features in advertising platforms. Your responsibilities will include contributing to software development projects, implementing backend web solutions, writing efficient and maintainable code, and participating in design discussions. You will also gain hands-on experience with programming, object-oriented design, and best practices in software development.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science principles and concepts
- Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development and Software Development
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaboration tools
- Ability to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies
- Teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Enrollment in a Computer Science or related degree program
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, or DevSecOps methodologies is a plus
