As an early engineering hire, you will work closely with highly experienced founders and engineers to build production-grade platforms powering AI security and infrastructure. The environment is fast-moving, deeply technical, and built for people who enjoy solving complex engineering problems with ownership and curiosity.

What You’ll Work On
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs
- Develop cloud-native services using Python or Golang
- Work on infrastructure supporting AI model operations and distributed systems
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs for high-performance applications
- Collaborate across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and product teams
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and deployment workflows
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage large-scale data efficiently
- Participate in production deployments, debugging, monitoring, and performance optimization
- Contribute to DevOps improvements and CI/CD automation
- Continuously improve code quality, architecture, and engineering standards
Technical Requirements
Core Skills
- 1–2 years of strong software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask) or Golang
- Solid understanding of backend development and API architecture
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Good understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis
- Familiarity with React or modern frontend frameworks is a plus
- Understanding of Git workflows and software development best practices
Infrastructure & Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture is preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or asynchronous processing systems
- Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or model deployment workflows
- Familiarity with event-driven systems or serverless architecture
- Understanding of backend security best practices
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities
