Meet Landmark Digital, we are part of the Landmark Group, one of the largest retail and hospitality organizations in the Middle East, North Africa, and India. We are guardians of the groups digital arm which encompasses of Enterprise & E-commerce Tech, Product Management, User Design, Omni Operations, Customer Experience, Loyalty, Content Production, Studio, Growth and Mar Tech, Finance and HR functions. Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web-based and e-commerce applications using Java and agile methodologies,
- Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience required
- Utilize SAP Hybris, various microservices architectures, and a range of Spring frameworks including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security
- Manage and optimize databases with a focus on both relational (Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, MongoDB)
- Implement messaging systems such as JMS queues, Kafka, and Spark
- Enhance application scalability across major public clouds including Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS
- Employ source versioning tools like Git,and conduct unit testing with jUnit
- Work with application frameworks like Spring, build automation tools such as Maven, and develop web services (REST, SOAP)
- Operate within the Linux environment efficiently
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong command of the English language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking abilities with a knack for solving problems through thoughtful solutions
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of initiative and a proven record as an exceptional team player
- Experience in collaborating with other team members throughout the development lifecycle
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications in cooperation with business and product owners
- Active participation in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
