About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled SDE-1 MERN Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using the MERN stack while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
- Develop responsive, high-performance frontend interfaces using React.js
- Design and develop backend APIs and microservices using Node.js & Express.js
- Integrate frontend applications with backend systems and databases
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and efficient code
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams
- Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions
- Ensure software quality through testing and best practices
- Contribute to CI/CD and deployment processes
Required Skills:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong knowledge of React.js, Redux/Context API
- Experience with Node.js & Express.js
- Strong understanding of MongoDB / NoSQL databases
- REST API development & third-party integrations
- Understanding of JWT/OAuth authentication
- HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind / Bootstrap
- Git/GitHub workflow knowledge
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong understanding of DSA fundamentals
Good to Have:
- Experience with TypeScript / Next.js
- Exposure to AWS / Docker / Kubernetes / CI-CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Redis / Kafka / Microservices
- Experience working on scalable product-based systems
