Job Summary
The Industrial Inspection & Business Development Specialist is responsible for conducting routine safety and compliance inspections per customer agreements, while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities to support company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled industrial inspections in accordance with client contracts, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure all inspections are completed safely, accurately, and on time
- Document findings and communicate results clearly to clients and internal teams
- Identify potential risks, compliance issues, and corrective actions during inspections
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and satisfaction
- Actively pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and client engagement
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to expand service offerings and revenue streams
- Support proposal development and contribute to growth strategies
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, industrial technology, safety, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in industrial inspection, field services, construction, manufacturing, or a related technical environment
- Experience in business development, sales, customer relationship management, or account management strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and compliance practices
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and accurately document findings
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in field environments
- Comfortable balancing technical responsibilities with revenue-generating activities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to travel locally to job sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA certification or safety-related training
- Experience in industrial, construction, or manufacturing inspections
- Proven track record of generating new business or growing accounts
