Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Sculpture Painting & Finishing Artist with a strong eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship. The ideal candidate should have professional experience in painting sculptures of various sizes, from miniature collectibles to large statement pieces, and be capable of delivering flawless finishes with consistency.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experienced in sculpture painting, idol painting, fine art painting, miniature painting, model painting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in spray gun painting for achieving smooth, high-quality surface finishes.
- Excellent command of paint brush techniques, including precision hand painting and fine artistic detailing.
- Exceptional micro-detailing skills, particularly for painting facial features, eyes, jewellery, ornaments, textures, patterns, and other intricate elements.
- Strong understanding of different types of paints, primers, pigments, and painting mediums.
- Good knowledge of colour theory, including colour matching, colour mixing, tinting, shading, and creating custom colours and finishes.
- Good knowledge of lacquers, clear coats, sealers, and protective finishes, along with their proper application techniques.
- Experience working with materials such as resin, fibre, plaster, wood, ceramic, or similar substrates.
- Ability to achieve consistent, premium-quality finishes across multiple sculptures.
- High attention to detail with a perfectionist approach to craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards and meeting production timelines.
