About the Role
Techylla is looking for experienced Scrum Masters / Team Coaches who can facilitate Agile transformation, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement across projects and programs.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who has led multiple Agile transformations and can bring that experience to bear on real teams, real impediments, and real delivery pressure — not just process facilitation.
Familiarity with scaled Agile environments and coaching Product Owners and stakeholders through the transformation journey is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation
- Facilitate Scrum events and ensure Agile best practices are followed.
- Coach teams to improve collaboration, delivery predictability, and self-organization.
- Identify and remove impediments impacting team performance.
Coaching & Continuous Improvement
- Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles.
- Drive Agile maturity and continuous improvement initiatives across projects and programs.
- Support scaling Agile practices across multiple teams when required.
Stakeholder & Delivery Support
- Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to keep delivery aligned to priorities.
- Track and communicate delivery predictability, velocity, and other Agile health metrics.
- Champion transparency and a culture of continuous feedback within and across teams.
Scrum Process & Tooling Ownership
- Own Jira set-up and configuration — boards, workflows, and governance — for the team(s) coached.
- Lead sprint planning and drive disciplined backlog management with Product Owners.
- Run daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, keeping ceremonies focused and effective.
- Help team members remove day-to-day blockers, escalating where needed to keep delivery on track.
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master and/or Team Coach.
- Minimum 10 years of overall industry experience.
- Prior hands-on technical background before moving into the Scrum Master / coaching track — typically in areas such as software development, QA/testing, business analysis, DevOps, or IT project coordination.
- Strong experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and Agile delivery practices.
- Experience coaching teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles.
- Hands-on experience with Agile project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
Preferred Skills
The following will significantly strengthen your application:
- Certification: Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
- Agile Metrics: Experience with Agile metrics, reporting, and stakeholder management.
- Communication: Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Enterprise Agile: Experience in large enterprise Agile environments.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Familiarity with burndown/burnup charts, velocity tracking, and Agile dashboards in tools like Jira Align, Azure Boards, or Rally.
