Role Description The Scrum Master at Netfreak is a full-time remote role responsible for facilitating agile processes for the content and technical teams. This role includes organizing and leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure smooth delivery of blog features and content initiatives. The Scrum Master will coach team members on agile principles, remove impediments, and support continuous improvement in workflows and collaboration. They will work closely with content creators, developers, and stakeholders to refine user stories, prioritize the backlog, and maintain clear communication across the team.
Qualifications
- Strong sprint planning and backlog management skills, with experience facilitating agile ceremonies.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
- Clear and effective communication skills for coordinating cross-functional remote teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work with user stories, including writing, refining, and prioritizing requirements.
- Basic understanding of software development processes and collaboration with technical teams.
- Experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile facilitation role; Scrum or Agile certification is a plus.
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment, with strong time management and self-organization skills.
- Familiarity with content platforms or digital media products is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience).
