Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master ( Freelancer ) to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices, ensuring smooth sprint execution, and helping teams deliver high-quality products efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Guide the team in adopting and following Agile/Scrum principles.
• Remove impediments and ensure smooth workflow for the development team.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Track sprint progress and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
• Promote continuous improvement and team collaboration.
• Monitor team performance using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts).
• Ensure transparency and effective communication across stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience working with cross-functional development teams.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
• Experience in IT/software development projects.
• Knowledge of scaling frameworks like SAFe or LeSS.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
