Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Scrum Master role based in Navi Mumbai. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring that teams adhere to Agile principles and frameworks. The role involves working closely with product owners to refine and prioritize the backlog, clarify user stories, and remove impediments that impact delivery. The Scrum Master will support cross-functional collaboration between development, testing, and business stakeholders, helping the team deliver high-quality software solutions on time. The role also includes tracking and reporting team performance metrics, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and customer focus.
Qualifications
- Strong Agile facilitation skills, including experience with sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ability to work with user stories, product backlogs, and acceptance criteria to support clear, testable requirements.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle and experience partnering with engineering and QA teams.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability to identify risks, remove impediments, and improve team performance.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with product owners, business teams, and leadership.
- Professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach; Scrum or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in financial services or banking environments and familiarity with regulatory or risk-controlled delivery is an advantage.
