Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, self-organization, and continuous improvement
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed, prioritized backlog
- Facilitate release planning and track release readiness, dependencies, and risks
- Identify, track, and proactively mitigate delivery, capacity, dependency, and quality risks
- Monitor sprint commitments against team capacity and historical velocity
- Track estimation accuracy, predictability trends, and unplanned work
- Create and maintain real-time Agile dashboards for sprint and release visibility
- Communicate delivery status, risks, and insights to stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to relevant delivery, quality, and compliance standards (as applicable)
- Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and Agile principles
- Hands-on experience facilitating Agile teams as a Scrum Master
- Solid understanding of Agile release planning and dependency management
- Ability to analyze capacity, velocity, and estimation metrics
- Experience creating delivery dashboards and reports
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to identify risks early and drive mitigation collaboratively
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Scrum certification such as CSM, PSM I/II, or SAFe Scrum Master (preferred)
- Agile or Lean-related training or certifications
Experience
- 6–12 years of overall experience in software delivery environments
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
- Proven experience supporting Agile release planning and delivery transparency
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering and product teams
- Exposure to scaled Agile or multi-team environments is a plus
