Job Description: Scrum Master – Associate Project Manager/Project Manager

A Scrum Master facilitates Agile/Scrum practices within the team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of projects. He/she should guide the team in following Scrum processes, organize ceremonies, remove blockers, and help improve collaboration between developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders. The role focuses on enabling the team to work efficiently, meet sprint goals, and continuously improve delivery performance.

Required Experience & Skills

• Experience should have 8 to 10 years.
• At least 3+ years of experience in Scrum Master or Agile coordination role.
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodology.
• Experience working as a Scrum Master or in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with different teams.
• Nice to have:
• Basic understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of QA/testing processes.
• Documentation and process improvement skills.
• Time management and multitasking abilities.
• CSM (Certified Scrum Master).
• PSM (Professional Scrum Master).
• SAFe Scrum Master.
• Problem solving and organizational skills.
• Should have strong oral and written communication.
• Should be a good team player.
• Should be proactive and adaptive.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Help the team follow Agile and Scrum processes.
• Remove any issues or blockers that affect the team’s work.
• Coordinate with the Product Owner to manage and prioritize tasks.
• Track sprint progress and ensure timely delivery.
• Encourage teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Support the team in meeting sprint goals and project deadlines.
• Communicate project updates with stakeholders and management.
• Release planning and coordination.
• Conflict resolution and team facilitation.
