Role Description This is a full-time Script Writer role based in the Greater Chennai Area with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing partial work from home. The Script Writer will develop scripts and screenplays for videos, digital campaigns, and other media formats, aligning content with project objectives and brand guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include brainstorming concepts with creative and production teams, outlining story structures, writing and revising dialogue, and adapting complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives. The role also involves collaborating with video production teams, providing script-related feedback during filming or editing, and ensuring all deliverables meet quality, timeline, and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Scriptwriting and Scripting skills for various formats (short-form, long-form, branded content).
- Candidates should possess experience in writing Screenplays and structuring visual narratives for video and digital media.
- Candidates should possess solid Writing skills, including clarity, creativity, and adaptability to different tones and audiences.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Video Production processes and collaboration with directors, editors, and creative teams.
- Excellent command of English, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in the Greater Chennai Area, including in-office collaboration and remote work.
- Prior experience in digital media, advertising, film, or content creation is preferred.
- Relevant academic background in Communications, Film, Media, Literature, or a related field is an advantage.
