Role Overview
We are seeking a rare hybrid talent: a Data-Driven YouTube Channel Manager & High-Retention Content Writer who can lead channel growth strategy while crafting highly engaging, psychology-backed scripts.
Your mission is to analyze YouTube analytics deeply, identify growth opportunities, predict trends before they peak, and create content that maximizes CTR, retention, and watch time.
Key ResponsibilitiesYouTube Channel Management
- Manage end-to-end YouTube channel operations and publishing schedules.
- Build and execute content strategies aligned with audience behavior and growth goals.
- Handle community engagement through comments, polls, and community tab activities.
- Coordinate with editors, designers, and voice-over artists for smooth execution.
Deep Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Analyze YouTube Studio metrics including:
- Click-Through Rate (CTR)
- Average View Duration (AVD)
- Audience Retention Graphs
- Impressions & Traffic Sources
- Identify retention dips/spikes and optimize future content accordingly.
- Conduct weekly performance audits and strategy reviews.
Trend Forecasting & Research
- Discover viral trends, emerging topics, and competitor gaps before they become saturated.
- Research internet culture, pop culture, psychology, and current affairs to generate high-performing video ideas.
- Stay updated with algorithm changes and YouTube best practices.
High-Retention Scriptwriting
- Write engaging 800–1200 word scripts optimized for:
- Viewer retention
- Emotional engagement
- Curiosity loops
- Strong storytelling flow
- Create compelling hooks that retain over 70% audience in the first 30 seconds.
- Write visually, including:
- B-roll suggestions
- Sound effect cues
- Editing transitions
- Pacing instructions
Packaging & Clickability
- Brainstorm highly clickable video titles and thumbnail concepts.
- Understand psychological triggers that improve CTR and audience curiosity.
- Work closely with designers to create high-converting packaging.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing or growing YouTube channels.
- Strong understanding of YouTube analytics and algorithm behavior.
- Exceptional storytelling and scriptwriting skills in Hindi, English, or Hinglish.
- Deep understanding of audience psychology, retention tactics, and viral content structure.
- Ability to think both creatively and analytically.
- Familiarity with internet culture, memes, trends, and digital storytelling.
- Experience writing for documentary-style, faceless, educational, commentary, or entertainment channels is a plus.
