Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Script Writer role based in Chennai. The Script Writer will develop original scripts and screenplays for videos and other visual content, aligned with project briefs and brand guidelines. Daily responsibilities include brainstorming concepts with the creative team, outlining story structures, writing dialogue and narration, revising scripts based on feedback, and coordinating with video production teams to ensure scripts are practical for filming. The role also involves conducting basic research to strengthen story accuracy, adapting scripts for different formats and platforms, and meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Scriptwriting and Scripting skills for short-form and long-form visual content.
- Candidates should possess experience in crafting Screenplays, including structure, pacing, and character development.
- Candidates should possess solid Writing abilities, with clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate language.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Video Production processes to align scripts with technical and visual requirements.
- Strong command of English, with excellent grammar, storytelling, and dialogue-writing skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with directors, producers, and other creatives in an on-site environment.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work under deadlines across multiple projects.
- Relevant experience in media, film, advertising, or digital content is preferred; a degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is beneficial.
