Role Description The Script Supervisor at Neo Film School is a full-time, on-site position based in Aluva. This role is responsible for overseeing script continuity during classes, rehearsals, and practical shoots, ensuring consistency in dialogue, action, and scene details. The Script Supervisor will work closely with directors, instructors, and student crews to track script changes, maintain detailed notes, and manage revisions throughout pre-production and production activities. Daily tasks include reviewing screenplays, preparing breakdowns, coordinating script materials, and supporting TV and film production exercises within the school. The role also involves mentoring students on best practices in script supervision, continuity, and professional writing for screen.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Screenplays and Writing, with the ability to analyze, annotate, and refine script documents.
- Candidates should possess skills in TV Production and Pre-production, including familiarity with production workflows, scheduling, and on-set protocols.
- Candidates should possess skills in Business Continuity Planning as it relates to production continuity, risk assessment, and process documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate continuity reports and script notes.
- Experience in film or television production environments, preferably in script supervision, assistant directing, or related roles.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with directors, faculty, and student teams.
- Proficiency in standard scriptwriting and production software (e.g., Final Draft, Celtx, scheduling tools) is beneficial.
- Relevant academic background in film studies, media, communications, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
