This is a full-time, benefitted position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no evenings or weekends required, at Scripps Clinic Jefferson in Oceanside.

What you'll do: 

  • Rooming patients, checking vitals, assisting with procedures
  • EKGs
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment
  • Collecting patient data in person and by phone
  • Stocking and reorganizing supplies
  • Ordering supplies
  • Scheduling return visits as needed

Required Certification/Registration:

  • Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman
  • BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months of experience working as Medical Assistant
  • EKG experience
  • Hematology/Oncology experience
  • Assisting with procedures
