Job Overview:
Codeyoung is seeking passionate and energetic Scratch Tutors to teach coding fundamentals to young learners through engaging, one-on-one online sessions. The tutor will help students explore programming concepts using Scratch while fostering creativity and logical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 live online coding classes on Scratch for students (Grades 1–10)
- Teach core programming concepts such as loops, conditionals, variables, and sequences
- Help students create games, animations, and interactive stories
- Customize lessons based on each student’s learning pace and ability
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback
- Ensure high student engagement and satisfaction during sessions
- Follow Codeyoung’s curriculum and teaching guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Scratch programming
- Good understanding of basic programming concepts
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Passion for teaching children and making learning fun
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners
- Tech-savvy with the ability to conduct smooth online classes
Eligibility Criteria:
- Undergraduate or graduate (preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields)
- Prior teaching/tutoring experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Freshers with strong communication skills and coding basics can apply
Technical Requirements:
- Laptop/Desktop with webcam and microphone
- High-speed internet connection
- Quiet teaching environment
Working Hours:
- 2:30 AM to 7:30 AM (Night shift)
Compensation:
- Competitive pay per session/hour (performance-based incentives may apply)
