Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Scratch Online Mentor. The mentor will be responsible for conducting engaging online sessions to teach Scratch programming to kids. Day-to-day tasks include lesson planning, delivering interactive lectures, providing personalized feedback, and addressing students' queries. The mentor will also ensure the achievement of learning milestones and create a positive learning environment for students.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding and experience in Scratch programming and block-based coding.
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with kids through online platforms.
- Skills in lesson planning, education, and creating an interactive curriculum.
- Patience, adaptability, and a learner-first teaching approach.
- Experience teaching or mentoring students, especially in coding, is a plus.
- Proficiency in using virtual teaching tools and technology.
