About the role
We're ScoreApp (scoreapp.com), a fast-growing SaaS tool that helps coaches, consultants, and professional service businesses turn static lead magnets into powerful interactive scorecards and diagnostics. Over 8,000 customers use ScoreApp to attract better leads, qualify them with data, and close more high-ticket sales.
We're hiring a growth marketer to execute a scrappy, high-impact go-to-market strategy inside external communities like Reddit, Quora, Product Hunt, Indie Hackers, and LinkedIn.
Your Mission
We don't want basic community management, we want growth.
Your job is to:
Identify and penetrate high-value online communities (e.g. Quora threads, Reddit subs, LinkedIn groups, founder networks) where our ideal customers hang out.
Test guerrilla-style campaigns to seed conversations, add value, and subtly (but strategically) insert ScoreApp into the conversation.
Create and repurpose compelling, insight-driven content - especially around lead generation, client qualification, and coaching/consulting funnel tactics.
Launch and amplify ScoreApp's presence on platforms like Product Hunt.
This is not about brand awareness fluff - we're after sharp, clever, and targeted ideas that generate trial sign-ups, usage, and conversions.
Who We're Looking For
You're a hybrid:
Part growth hacker, part content strategist, part community whisperer.
You're comfortable being hands-on. Posting, replying, testing content angles, and adapting quickly.
You've successfully run community-led or external channel acquisition strategies before (especially for B2B SaaS or similar tools).
Bonus if you already have established Reddit/Quora/PH/LinkedIn profiles with authority or karma.
What sets you apart:
You understand the psychology of why people engage in communities, and how to provide value without spamming.
You know how to position a product as a solution to pain points in existing conversations.
You're a fast writer who can distil complex value propositions (like "diagnostic funnels" or "lead qualification automation") into engaging, platform-native posts.
Our Ideal Customer
To give you context, our best customers are small-to-mid-sized, founder-led service businesses - like leadership coaches, HR consultants, or financial advisors - who struggle to:
- Stand out online
- Qualify leads efficiently
- Show tangible ROI to prospects and clients
ScoreApp gives them an edge by turning their knowledge into a beautiful quiz or scorecard that attracts better-fit leads and drives conversions.
Your First 30 Days
You'll work directly with our CMO on:
- Researching and mapping high-opportunity external communities
- Crafting platform-native content (e.g. Quora answers, Reddit value posts, niche community contributions)
- Testing 3–5 GTM angles around pain points like "how to get better leads," "quiz funnel best practices," "replacing your lead magnet," etc
Repackaging top-performing content into scalable content loops
What Success Looks Like:
You drive 100s of targeted, warm users from community platforms per week
You create posts that generate discussion, upvotes, or bookmarks
You generate direct trial sign-ups that convert
You build a playbook that we can scale across more communities
