Job Title: Transformation Leader – SCM
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role:
The Transformation Leader – SCM will be accountable for driving large-scale Transformation programs across the Supply Chain Management domain. The role requires deep SCM domain expertise, strong program leadership capability, and experience in conceptualizing and delivering end-to-end digital and operational transformation initiatives.
The individual will work closely with customers, delivery teams, and leadership stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities, define roadmaps, and ensure successful execution and value realization.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Transformation programs across the SCM domain.
- Coordinate with Delivery / Account teams to track and ensure compliance with contractual productivity commitments.
- Lead end-to-end conceptualization and delivery of SCM Transformation solutions, including Digital Assets & Analytics deployment.
- Engage with customers to understand current landscape, infrastructure, and business challenges to identify transformation opportunities.
- Develop and propose transformation roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
- Lead engagement, solution design, and change management processes to ensure successful implementation of digital solutions.
- Identify, review, and enrich Transformation proposals using deep SCM domain knowledge.
- Collaborate with Project / Program Leaders to optimize quality of project outputs.
- Drive operational efficiency and value creation across engagements.
- Establish governance mechanisms for transformation delivery and value realization.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with customers for review and approval of deliverables.
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader in SCM Transformation.
Experience:
- 15–20 years of experience within the SCM Outsourcing industry.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience managing large Transformation programs.
- Experience leading large strategic projects end-to-end, including conceptualization, implementation, and realization.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders such as CIOs, CPOs, and CSCOs.
- Experience working in large organizations with a matrix structure.
- Strong understanding of operational service delivery management, preferably in an international environment.
- Ability to influence executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Operations, Supply Chain, or Digital Transformation Management.
Required Skills:
- Strong domain knowledge across Plan, Buy, Make, Deliver & Enable, with depth in at least one area.
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach with strong conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in operating model design, value chain mapping, and business process reengineering.
- Knowledge of intelligent automation, robotics, AI, ML, data & analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Awareness of Digital tools and solutions in SCM.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of Technology and ERPs used in SCM (SAP, Oracle, JDE, or other ERP systems).
- Exposure to Quality, Analytics, Metrics design, Benchmarking, and Consulting.
- Cross-industry and cross-functional experience.
- Knowledge of Process Mining and Visualization tools such as Celonis, Power BI, and Tableau.
Preferred Certifications:
- Domain Certifications (Source to Pay, Inventory Management, Transportation & Logistics, etc.).
- PMP / Prince2.
- Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt / Master Black Belt).
- Agile / Scrum Certifications.
- Techno-functional Certifications in RPA / AI / ML.
- Data Science / Business Analytics Certifications.
