Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Tambaram for a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Purchase Manager. The SCM Purchase Manager will oversee the procurement process, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost optimization. The role also involves monitoring supply chain performance, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining compliance with procurement policies and standards to meet organizational goals effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in procurement, vendor management, and supplier negotiations.
- Experience in supply chain operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Analytical capabilities for cost analysis, forecasting, and budget management.
- Proficiency in documentation, compliance standards, and understanding of procurement policies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic workflows.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, supply chain software, or relevant technological tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications like CSCP or CPSM are a plus.
