Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in health information technology preferred, or enrollment in a college/university HIM program accepted.
Licenses/Certification
- Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of HIM experience preferred.
