Key Responsibilities:
- Perform purification using HPLC, Prep-HPLC, Flash Chromatography, Ion-Exchange, Size-Exclusion, Reverse-Phase, and other chromatographic techniques.
- Optimize purification parameters to improve yield, purity, and throughput.
- Develop purification strategies for small molecules, peptides depending on project needs.
- Develop and validate purification methods aligned with project requirements.
- Knowledge on selecting appropriate columns, stationary phases, solvents, and gradients.
- Implement DoE (Design of Experiments) for method optimization where required.
- Analyze chromatographic data and document purification processes, and reports in compliance with GLP/GMP guidelines.
- Preparation of method development reports and technical documentation.
- Support scale‑up of purification processes from laboratory to pilot/commercial scale.
- Collaborate with process chemistry, manufacturing, and QA teams for technology transfer.
- Troubleshoot purification challenges encountered during scale-up or production.
- Operate and maintain chromatography systems (AKTA, Prep-HPLC systems, Flash units).
- Perform routine calibration, system suitability tests, and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors for instrument servicing and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all purification operations adhere to GMP, GLP, and regulatory standards.
- Follow laboratory safety practices and maintain equipment logs and SOPs.
- Participate in audits and support documentation needs for regulatory submissions.
Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry (or related chemistry discipline)
