Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Scientist – Molecular Biology based in Hyderabad. The Scientist will lead and participate in molecular biology research, including designing and developing molecular diagnostic assays. Responsibilities include conducting experiments such as RNA/DNA extraction, real-time PCR assay development, and troubleshooting. The role also involves analyzing biological data, maintaining records, adhering to quality management systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance innovative diagnostic solutions.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of molecular biology techniques, including PCR, RT-PCR, RNA/DNA extraction, and gel electrophoresis
- Experience in experimental design, troubleshooting, and data analysis
- Ability to work within GMP, ISO, and other certified quality management systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing technical reports, scientific documentation, and SOPs
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with an attention to detail
- Team collaboration skills with the ability to work in interdisciplinary environments
- Doctorate or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field
- Experience in molecular diagnostic development or related experience in the life sciences industry is highly desirable
