About the Role
The Asian Kid is looking for a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Full-Time Physics, Chemistry & Biology Teacher to join our growing academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality online lessons to GCSE students while contributing to curriculum development, academic planning, assessments, and student success.
This is a full-time remote position for educators who are committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences and helping students achieve outstanding academic results.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning
- Deliver engaging and interactive online lessons in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for GCSE students.
- Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE examinations by teaching concepts, problem-solving techniques, and exam strategies.
- Adapt teaching methods according to students' learning needs and academic abilities.
- Encourage critical thinking, curiosity, and confidence in students.
Academic Planning
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials before classes.
- Create worksheets, quizzes, homework assignments, revision materials, and mock examinations.
- Regularly update and improve teaching resources to maintain high academic standards.
Student Progress
- Monitor student performance through regular assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback and personalized support.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, homework, and academic progress.
- Share progress reports with parents and academic management whenever required.
Collaboration
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and academic planning meetings.
- Work closely with the Academic Head and other teachers to improve curriculum delivery.
- Participate in internal teacher training and continuous professional development.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions with students and parents.
- Submit lesson reports and student updates on time.
- Follow company policies, academic guidelines, and quality standards.
RequirementsEssential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching GCSE, IGCSE, or equivalent international curriculum.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Experience teaching students from international backgrounds.
Technical Requirements
- High-speed and reliable internet connection.
- Laptop/Desktop with a good-quality webcam and microphone.
- Proficiency in online teaching platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to prepare engaging PowerPoint presentations, quizzes, and digital learning materials.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with online educational tools and digital whiteboards.
- Passion for teaching and continuous learning.
Working Hours
- Full-Time (Monday to Saturday)
- Working hours will be scheduled according to student batches and operational requirements.
