Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for the position of Head of the Science Department (HOD). The Science HOD will oversee the design and implementation of the science curriculum, mentor teachers, and ensure high-quality teaching pedagogy. Responsibilities include conducting research to improve educational outcomes, analyzing student performance data, and coordinating academic activities to align with institutional goals. Additionally, the role involves facilitating communication between faculty, students, and parents to uphold the school’s academic standards.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge in Science concepts and curriculum development
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate performance metrics and implement improvements
- Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Experience in Education and teaching practices, along with a background in mentorship
- Proven ability to conduct Research and incorporate innovative teaching methodologies
- Master’s Degree in Science Education or related field preferred, along with prior experience in a leadership role
- Familiarity with Cambridge and CBSE curricula is a plus
- Ability to lead a team and foster a collaborative work environment
