Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Science Communicator based in all over Tamil Nadu. The Science Communicator will be responsible for translating complex scientific concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand content for various audiences. Responsibilities include creating educational materials, developing presentations, conducting workshops, engaging with students and communities, and collaborating with technical teams to communicate the technical aspects of model rocketry in accessible formats.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Science Communication, Public Speaking, and presenting complex concepts in an engaging and simple manner.
- Ability to create educational materials, including articles, presentations, videos, and workshop content.
- Experience in Outreach and Community Engagement to inspire interest in science and rocketry among diverse audiences.
- Basic knowledge of Physics, Engineering, or Space Science is preferred.
- Proficiency in tools such as presentation software and graphic design tools is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams in Chennai.
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Science, Education, Communication, or a related field.
