Job Description – School Sales Manager
Location: Pune & Mumbai
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Role Overview:
The School Sales Manager (SSM) will be responsible for driving B2B school sales and increasing penetration across assigned regions. The role involves direct engagement with school decision-makers, building strong relationships, and promoting programs effectively. The candidate should have a strong network within schools and a proven ability to crack institutional deals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Achieve individual and branch school sales targets
• Develop and expand school network and drive market penetration
• Increase program adoption in partnered schools
• Meet school heads, owners, and decision-makers regularly
• Present proposals and close sales opportunities
• Promote offerings through conferences, associations, and professional bodies
• Maintain CRM updates and sales reports regularly
• Support operations for smooth execution of programs
• Provide continuous support to clients and internal teams
• Maintain proper documentation and records
Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in B2B school sales (any industry)
• Strong network and connections with schools is mandatory
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Target-driven and proactive attitude
Preferred Background:
Candidates from B2B sales roles with exposure to school ecosystems (EdTech, Publishing, Travel, etc.)
Additional Requirements:
• Laptop – Mandatory
• Two-wheeler – Mandatory
• Willingness to travel extensively
• 6 working days
Key Result Areas:
• Onboard and generate business from at least 50 schools
• Achieve revenue targets as assigned
• Increase market penetration in the region
