About the Role
We are looking for a School Sales Executive with 3–5 years of experience in selling educational products or services to schools. The role focuses on building strong relationships with school management and driving adoption of our wellbeing and Emotion AI–based solutions across Chennai and nearby regions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and reach out to schools (management, principals, and owners) in Chennai and surrounding areas to present our programs and products.
2. Plan and execute school visits, online and offline presentations, demos, and meetings to generate interest and close business.
3. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers in schools and educational groups.
4. Understand each school’s needs and map them to our offerings (counselling and wellbeing programs, Emotion AI Powered Positivity Tracker, EPPT, life skills initiatives).
5. Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, follow-ups, proposal sharing, negotiations, and closures.
6. Coordinate with internal delivery, counselling, and product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high satisfaction for partner schools.
7. Track and report weekly and monthly sales activities (calls, visits, meetings, demos) and outcomes (pilots, closures, renewals) using basic CRM/Sheets.
8. Represent the organization at education events, school fairs, and parent forums to build visibility and create leads.
Requirements
1. 3–5 years of experience in school / education sales (EdTech, publishing, training, assessments, counselling services, or similar B2B/B2E roles).
2. Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales targets in the education segment.
3. Strong network or ability to quickly build connects with principals, school owners, and senior academic staff.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Tamil.
5. Comfortable with regular field work in and around Chennai (school visits, meetings, events).
6. Ability to manage a sales pipeline, handle objections, and maintain disciplined follow-up.
7. Basic proficiency with email, WhatsApp, online meeting tools, and Google Sheets/Excel.
8. Graduate in management is an added advantage.

By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
