Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a School Psychologist located in Jalandhar. The School Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling services, supporting mental health initiatives, and collaborating with educators and administrators. They will also develop strategies to enhance student well-being, address learning challenges, and assist in creating an inclusive educational environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Psychology and Psychological Assessment methodologies
- Knowledge of Counseling techniques and strategies
- Understanding of Mental Health principles and practices
- Exposure to basic concepts of Medicine in relation to psychological support
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, educators, and administration
- Master's degree in Psychology, School Counseling, or a related field
- Relevant certifications or licensure as per professional standards
