Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic academic and administrative leadership to the school.
- Experience in a CBSE school is strongly preferred.
- Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum and academic policies.
- Drive improvement in academic outcomes, student performance, and overall school quality.
- Lead, mentor, evaluate, and develop teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Monitor lesson planning, teaching quality, assessments, examinations, and remedial programs.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE affiliation requirements, applicable education regulations, and school policies.
- Oversee CBSE-related documentation, records, inspections, and mandatory disclosures.
- Maintain high standards of discipline, child safety, student wellbeing, and safeguarding.
- Build strong relationships with parents, students, teachers, management, and external stakeholders.
- Handle parent concerns and grievance resolution professionally.
- Plan and monitor the annual academic calendar, events, activities, and co-curricular programs.
- Manage school operations, infrastructure, resources, and day-to-day administration.
- Promote innovation, technology integration, experiential learning, and holistic student development.
- Represent the school professionally before parents, authorities, and the wider community.
- Work closely with the School Management Committee/Management to achieve institutional goals.
Candidate Profile
- Postgraduate degree from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. / equivalent professional teaching qualification as applicable.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum, examination system, affiliation requirements, and school administration.
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in reputed schools, including substantial experience in a senior leadership role such as Principal / Vice Principal / Head of School / Academic Head.
- Experience in a CBSE school is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage school operations effectively.
Preferred
- Mumbai-based candidate preferred.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be given preference.
- Experience handling CBSE inspections, affiliation/compliance, board examinations, and mandatory school documentation will be an advantage.
