<strong>School of Rock – Arlington Heights, IL (Part-Time)<br></strong><br>
</div><div>School of Rock Arlington Heights is seeking a <strong>high-energy early childhood educator</strong> to lead our <strong>Little Wing (ages 4–5)</strong> and <strong>Rookies (ages 6–7)</strong> programs. This role is ideal for someone who specializes in working with young children and can create a fun, structured, and engaging classroom environment. <strong>A strong musical background is not required.<br></strong><br>

<strong>Responsibilities<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Lead Little Wing & Rookies classes using our structured curriculum (training provided) </li>
<li> Create a positive, engaging, and well-managed classroom for young learners </li>
<li> Use movement, games, and hands-on activities to teach foundational music concepts </li>
<li> Manage classroom behavior and maintain clear structure and routines </li>
<li> Communicate regularly with parents about student experience and progress </li>
<li> Help prepare students for in-school showcases and events </li>
</ul><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul>
<li> Experience in <strong>early childhood education</strong> (teaching, daycare, preschool, camps, etc.) </li>
<li> Strong classroom management and group leadership skills </li>
<li> High energy, patience, and ability to engage young children </li>
<li> Organized, reliable, and professional with parents and staff </li>
<li> Interest in music or performing arts is a plus (but not required) </li>
</ul><div><strong>Schedule</strong></div><ul>
<li><strong>Saturdays required (morning–early afternoon)</strong></li>
<li> Additional weekday availability is a plus </li>
</ul><div><strong>Pay</strong></div><ul>
<li> Hourly, based on experience </li>
