The Heart of the Role
At WisdomWood High (WWH), the Librarian is a curator of knowledge, inquiry, and information literacy. This role reimagines the library as a learning commons, a space for exploration, research, creativity, and critical thinking rather than quiet storage. They support progressive pedagogy by guiding students and teachers in accessing high-quality resources, developing research skills, nurturing reading culture, and using information ethically and independently.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, Education, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience as a librarian or resource specialist, preferably in a school setting
- Experience working in progressive, inquiry-led, or IB-aligned school environments
- Exposure to digital libraries and research-based learning programmes
- Comfortable with library management systems and digital catalogues
- Proficient in Google Workspace for Education and online resource platforms
- Willingness to support digital research and portfolio documentation
