Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Serampore-Uttarpara for a School Counselor. The School Counselor will provide guidance and support to students, helping them navigate academic, personal, and career-related challenges. Responsibilities include one-on-one and group counseling, conducting career guidance sessions, collaborating with teachers and parents to monitor student progress, and addressing mental health concerns. The counselor will also assist students in developing strategies to achieve their academic and personal goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
- Strong foundation in Counseling and Psychology
- Awareness and understanding of Mental Health concerns and support strategies
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with students, parents, and staff
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in an educational or counseling setting is an asset
