Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a School Counselor based in Samastipur. The School Counselor will be responsible for guiding and supporting students in their academic, career, and personal development. Specific responsibilities include providing individual counseling sessions, conducting career guidance workshops, identifying students’ mental health needs, and working closely with teachers and parents to foster a supportive environment. The role also involves regular assessments of students’ progress and implementing strategies to enhance their overall well-being.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Student Counseling and Counseling to address academic and personal challenges
- Strong foundation in Career Counseling for guiding students in academic and professional choices
- Knowledge and practical experience in Psychology and Mental Health to support students’ emotional well-being
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build a trustful rapport with students
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Previous experience in a school setting or educational environment is an advantage
