Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a School Bus Driver located in Bengaluru. The School Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and school-related activities, following assigned routes and schedules. Responsibilities include conducting regular vehicle checks to ensure safety, maintaining accurate records such as attendance and mileage, and communicating effectively with school staff, students, and parents. Compliance with traffic rules and safety protocols is a critical aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Truck Driving and CDL Class B license to operate a school bus in adherence to local regulations
- Proficiency in Defensive Driving techniques and adhering to safety protocols
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with school staff, engage with parents, and manage students on board
- Customer Service abilities to foster a respectful, welcoming, and safe environment for passengers
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in fulfilling daily tasks
- Knowledge of local traffic regulations and routes in Bengaluru
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory
