In this Registrar position, you'll be trained in multiple areas of Patient Access to enable you perform outpatient and emergency department registration, pre-registration of scheduled visits, and the indexing of referrals via our Centralized Order Intake system. You'll work with patients and referral sources to ensure that our patients experience a seamless entry into our health system.

The Float Registrar position helps to perform multiple functions in the Patient Access department including registration (outpatient and ED), pre-registration of scheduled tests/procedures, and order intake. This position does include participating in an on-call coverage rotation.
Scheduled days/hours: Tuesday-Thursday 8a-4:30p, Friday 7a-4:30p, and Saturday 7a-12p. Pay rate begins at $14.78/hr.

Minimum: High School Diploma/GED
EXPERIENCE
Preferred: At least one year working in a hospital setting, with experience interacting with patients face to face. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated customer experience skills. Working knowledge of keyboarding, data entry, and Microsoft Windows. Experience with insurance verification.
