About the role
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the performance, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment on offshore oil rigs
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical equipment such as compressors, pumps, generators, and other related systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain and update maintenance records and reports
- Provide technical support and training to the rig crew
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience as an ETO Mechanical Engineer in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment used in offshore operations
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in a challenging offshore environment
