Job Title - Scheduler / Planning Engineer
Location - Dholera, Gujarat, India
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler / Planning Engineer with strong expertise in project scheduling, stakeholder management, and coordination across multiple functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Primavera P6, excellent planning and reporting skills, and the ability to drive schedule management in a complex engineering and manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor master project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Create detailed project plans, milestones, resource-loaded schedules, and progress tracking mechanisms.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, operations, procurement, and management teams to ensure project schedules remain aligned with business objectives.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide timely schedule updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare schedule performance reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Analyze critical paths, resource constraints, and project risks impacting timelines.
- Ensure schedule integrity through regular updates, forecasting, and change management processes.
- Support project controls activities, including planning, reporting, and schedule optimization.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-8+ years of experience in project scheduling, planning, project controls, or project coordination.
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Proven experience in planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including dashboards, reporting, and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related discipline.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, EPC, construction, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to project controls, risk management, and resource planning.
- Knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, or project reporting tools.
- PMP, Primavera P6 Certification, or related project management certifications will be an advantage.
