Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible to provide direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home environment to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental and emotional well-being possible.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life
- Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in the care plan
- Completes documentation of resident care as assigned
- Reports changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge Nurse
- Attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned
- Follows and upholds policies and procedures with a special focus on safety policies and procedures while performing personal and nursing care for residents
- Follows infection control guidelines
- Observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality, thereby helping to providing quality care and a quality life to each resident
- Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse, Director of Nursing and/or the Executive Director
