🚀 We’re Hiring: Senior Scala Developer (6+ Years) – YuppTV
📍 Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office)

Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of Scala developers, providing technical guidance and best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Scala.
- Perform advanced-level code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure code.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver business requirements.
- Ensure API standards, documentation, and integration best practices are followed.
- Monitor application performance and proactively resolve production issues.
- Drive continuous improvement in development, testing, and deployment processes.
🔹
Required Technical SkillsBackend & APIs
- Strong experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Swagger API integration & documentation
- JWT-based authentication & authorization
Databases
- PostgreSQL – advanced level (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning, schema design)
Performance & Monitoring
- Experience with SonarQube, New Relic, or similar tools
- Heap dump analysis & memory troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of JVM memory management & performance tuning
Code Quality & Engineering Practices
- Advanced code review and quality enforcement
- Experience with static code analysis, security checks, and performance improvements
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build tools

Leadership & Team Management- Mentor and guide junior/mid-level developers
- Drive technical decisions and ensure timely delivery
- Promote best practices, clean code, and a culture of continuous learning

Nice to Have- Microservices architecture experience
- Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Reactive programming / Akka
