Role Description
We are looking for skilled Scala Developers with strong experience in building and maintaining large-scale banking applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Scala and related frameworks, strong RESTful web service development skills, and a solid understanding of both Object-Oriented and Functional Programming concepts. Experience with modern DevOps practices and Agile methodologies is a plus.

Mandatory Skills & Responsibilities
3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a Scala Developer
In-depth knowledge and experience in:
o Scala, Scala.js, and Liftweb
o Application design and development for large-scale banking applications
Strong experience in RESTful web service development
Solid understanding of:
o Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
o Functional Programming concepts
o Data Modeling and Design Patterns
Extensive experience with:
o JavaScript
o JDBC
o SQL (preferably Oracle and MySQL)
Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and performance tuning skills
Good to Have
- Hands-on experience with:
o JBoss
o Jetty
o Hibernate
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix-based systems
o End-to-end Scala architecture
o Apache Spark optimization techniques
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
