Job Description
Role - SCADA/PLC Engineer
Experience - 5+ Years
Education - B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/ Electrical Control System
Expertise - Siemens S7-400H, S7-1500 (SIL and Non SIL System) or Mitsubishi iQR Series Process CPU- Redundant Standards Knowledge IEC 61508, IEC 61511 Understanding and Documentation of Software Life Cycle Planning, Software Requirement, Architecture and Design, Component Design, Component Implementation and Testing, Integration, Overall Software Testing/Final Validation Strong in documentation to handle the project life cycle.

We are looking for an experienced PLC Engineer with strong expertise in Industrial Automation, must have a prior experience in controller logic development and SCADA screen development on project with more than 500 inputs and Outputs in ICS/ Distributed system and learning mindset to develop technical expertise as required for the project.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop PLC/Controller logic and SCADA applications for Industrial Control System (ICS) / Distributed Control System (DCS) projects involving more than 500 I/O points.
- Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC logic using FB, Ladder Logic, and SFC programming methodologies. Develop and configure SCADA graphics, alarms, trends, reports, and system visualization applications as per project requirements.
- Understand project technical requirements from tenders, client specifications, and design documents to generate engineering deliverables.
- Prepare and review technical documents including:-
-I/O Lists-Interface Lists-Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
-Alarm Lists-Panel Internal & External Wiring Diagrams
-Testing & Commissioning Documents Execute and support Pre-FAT, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and system validation activities at customer sites.
- Coordinate with project leads, customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams for successful project execution and timely delivery. Implement and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as:-
-Modbus RTU/TCP-IP
-OPC DA/UA
-Other industrial Ethernet-based communication systems
- Design and implement industrial network architecture for automation and control systems. Ensure project execution complies with applicable industrial automation and control system standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in controller selection, hardware architecture design, and system integration activities based on project requirements.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously as per execution schedules and project priorities. Prepare software testing, validation, and documentation reports in line with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Work closely with engineering and site teams during installation, loop checking, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams and customers during project handover and post-commissioning stages.
- Supervises and mentor Junior employees to ensure delivery schedules and verify that projects deliverable are accurate to project requirements.
Job Requirements
- Excellent Communications Skills and Confidence
- Should have worked with System integrator (SI) company in the past and have prior Experience in execution of Pre-FAT, FAT, SAT for the projects and be capable of supporting multiple projects as per the overall execution plan of the projects.
- Good command on Network architecture/implementation. Hands on experience in implementing protocols (Modbus -Serial RTU/ TCP/IP, OPC DA/ UA, IEC 104).
- Good exposure to industrial standards that are applicable during industrial control system project lifecycle.
- Experience in understanding project technical requirements (HW/SW) based on tender and other project design inputs to generate technical deliverables of the project - IO List, Interface lists, Functional design Specification (FDS), Panel Internal and external wiring diagrams, Alarm list as per the direction of Project Lead
- Should have commanding expertise in Controller selection, PLC Logic development (FB/Ladder/ SFC), SCADA application development. Prior experience to Metro BMS projects, HVAC projects, Substation Automation projects is an advantage.
