Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a SCADA Engineer based in Kolkata. The SCADA Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems, troubleshooting system issues, and configuring Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize power systems and ensure the efficient performance of electrical control systems.

organization in the field of industrial automation and control systems. We specialize in
execution of Water Treatment Plant, Raw Water Intake Jetty with Pumping Station, H.T.
& L.T Sub-Station, Pipe Laying Works with Jack Pushing Technology, ESR& GLR.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems
- Design and maintain SCADA/HMI applications
- Work on industrial automation projects and site execution
- Handle panel wiring, loop checking, and commissioning
- Diagnose issues in PLC panels, VFDs, and instrumentation systems
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards
Educational Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or
Automation Engineering
- Candidates with B.Sc./BCA and relevant automation training may apply for junior roles
- Certifications in PLC/SCADA/DCS from recognized institutes will be an added
advantage
Required Technical Skills:
- PLC Programming: Ladder Logic (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Structured Text
(ST)
- SCADA/HMI Software: Siemens Win CC, Factory Talk View, Wonder ware, Ignition,
Schneider platforms
- Hardware Knowledge: Siemens (S7-1200/1500), Allen-Bradley, Delta, Mitsubishi
- Industrial Communication Protocols: Modbus (RTU/TCP), Profibus, PROFINET,
Ethernet
- Knowledge of panel design, motor control circuits, and instrumentation systems
Experience:
- Need 1–5 years of experience preferably in Water Treatment Plant of conventional type
and Plate Settler & Raw Water Intake Pump House.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Awareness of industrial safety practices
