Job Description
Oversee the development and implementation of the plastics category strategy across the portfolio, in line with company goals and objectives. - Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion within the plastics industry. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new plastic products, from concept to launch. - Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and securing competitive pricing. - Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities. - Develop and execute marketing plans to promote our plastic products and increase market share. - Lead and coach a team of category managers, providing guidance and support to achieve targets and objectives. - Collaborate with sales teams to develop pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales and profitability. - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
