DevOps Engineer (India) SavvyMoney is a US based leading financial technology company. This position will be working 100% Remotely from your home office in India as part of a distributed team in the USA, Canada, Europe and several locations in India. We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to support and enhance our applications' reliability, scalability, and performance. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless software delivery Responsibilities Provide technical support for enterprise applications, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues. Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency. Perform root cause analysis for recurring application issues and recommend preventive measures. Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution. Support upgrades, patches, and deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to users. Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless software functionality. Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for issue resolution and enhancements. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. Skills and Qualifications Experience in application support & troubleshooting. Familiarity with JAVA, Angular & MySQL database Hands on experience in cloud environment - AWS (especially with AWS Batch, Lambda, RDS, ALB/EC2) Hands on experience in database monitoring, query optimization, data archivals using AWS RDS Hands on experience in monitoring tools like Grafana Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Skills Background in Agile and DevOps methodologies Understanding of APIs, microservices, and system integrations Familiarity with IaC using Terraform or AWS Cloudformation
