As we continue expanding nationwide, we’re looking for a driven, hands-on Assistant General Manager to help lead our team and deliver an elite guest experience every single day.
Position Overview
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a critical leadership role in driving daily operations, developing team members, and supporting the General Manager in achieving financial and operational goals. This is a hands-on position that requires strong leadership on the floor, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering best-in-class food quality and hospitality.
The AGM is expected to lead by example, hold the team accountable, and ensure all brand standards are executed at a high level.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Execution

Lead day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring excellence in food quality, speed, accuracy, and cleanliness

Enforce all Houston TX Hot Chicken SOPs, food safety standards, and operational procedures

Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked restaurant at all times

Ensure proper execution of recipes, prep, and cooking procedures
Team Leadership & Development

Train, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders
-
Uphold a culture of accountability, urgency, and respect

Lead by example with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
-
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management
Guest Experience
-
Ensure every guest receives exceptional service from entry to exit

Drive table touches and guest engagement in the dining room
-
Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly
-
Reinforce FOH standards including greetings, menu knowledge, and upselling
Financial Performance
-
Support the General Manager in achieving labor and COGS targets
-
Drive sales through strong execution, upselling, and team performance
-
Monitor waste, portioning, and inventory practices
-
Assist in scheduling to meet business needs while maintaining efficiency
Systems & Accountability

Ensure completion of daily checklists, audits, and operational tools (Jolt, etc.)

Maintain compliance with health department and safety regulations

Support store readiness for audits, secret shops, and leadership visits
Qualifications
-
2+ years of restaurant leadership experience (Assistant Manager, Shift Manager, or similar role)
-
Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and guest service
-
Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment

High level of accountability, organization, and attention to detail

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain)
