We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad_Phoenix. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in SAS Administration, specifically with SAS Viya 4 and 3.5. This role is critical in managing and optimizing our infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and support for our analytics initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- SAS Administrator & SAS Viya 4, 3.5 administrator, Design, implement, and maintain SAS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. Not a developer
- Administer SAS Viya 4 and 3.5 environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to SAS applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Implement security measures to protect SAS environments and data integrity.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders regarding SAS infrastructure.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAS technologies and infrastructure management.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in SAS Administration, particularly with SAS Viya 4 and 3.5.
- Proficient in managing SAS environments, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure management principles and practices.
- Experience with monitoring tools and techniques for SAS applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
- Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with database management and data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Certifications related to SAS Administration or Infrastructure Management.
